Loving God, Loving People, Loving Life

What to Expect

There are always many questions that run through our minds when we are looking at going somewhere for the first time.  What do I wear, what will this be like, where is this at, etc.  Our minds and imaginations run wild as we are looking into the realm of the unknown.  Here are a few of the questions I have heard of the years from people interested in attending church for the 1st time:

1.   What do I wear?  This is the #1 question I hear.  Let me put your mind at ease, wear what makes you comfortable.  Whether it is blue jeans and flip flops or a suit and tie, come as you feel you want to.  The only thing we ask is modesty please.

2.   What about my children?  Faith Tabernacle offers nursery and children's services during the Sunday morning service.  However, if you are not comfortable with that, they are more than welcome to stay in the sanctuary with you.  We want your kids to be as much as part and to feel as welcome as you.  All of God's children are welcome at Faith Tabernacle.

3.   What kind of music do you play?   Hmmm, as a Pastor I enjoy and hate this question the most.  First let me say, I am open and can worship God to any song that glorifies Him.  I love hymns, contemporary worship, and even some other genres that exalt my Lord and Savior.  With that said, I encourage our worship       team to consistently seek God about what songs will minister at that given service.  I figure if God chooses, then we can't go wrong.

4.   What time does church start?  Sunday morning at 10 a.m.   Wednesday night at 7 p.m.   Presently we are exploring starting new ministries in the church and those days and times will be updated here as soon as they start.

Thanks for considering attending our church.  If you decided to attend, know that we have friendly ushers and greeters available to assist you anytime before, during, or after the service.  If you need help with something, please just ask.  We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
